My Weekends !

    Yesterday, which was Saturday , I had went for bagpipe lessons due to my CCA . I went to the church which was the practice venue in the noon . Soon , Ma'am ans Sir came . Ma'am had sat down with us and taught us new songs . We had also gone through the songs that we had learnt last week . I was happy that we were able to learn new songs as I really like the melody of some of the songs that I kept playing them even when I reached home .
After that , We had went for out parade which was compulsory for every lesson . We played the songs that we had learnt together with the drummers .I think we did a good job but some of the people there just did not want to co-operate with the Pipe Major . He even insulted people , saying some people 'cheena' . I did not really quite understand but I was pretty sure that he was insulting people from China like me . I wanted to shout at him , but I was afraid so I did not do anything but just kept every thing inside me .

    After the practice , I went to have a meal with some of my seniors at Mos Burger . I find the food there really nice ! However , they were much more expensive than other fast-food restaurant but I think it still worth it .

    The next day which is Sunday , I had went to my friend's house to do Maths homework . The Maths homework was so complicated that we had spent almost 4 hours on it , but we still managed to finish it . However , there were still questions that we were unsure of so we decided to ask our teacher in school .

    Afterwards , I went to have lunch at a coffee-shop . I think the coffee-shop was really popular as there were lots of people in it and it was very noisy .

    As I got home , I went to fold stars which was my hobby nowadays . I had the determination to fold 1000 stars as I wanted to something special which is a secret . Until now , I had folded a total of 354 stars , although I still have 600 plus to go , but I will still get to 1000 someday as long as I do not give up easily .

    I hope that I can finish folding the stars on time and I like the way I spent my weekends with lots of activities planned for me !

An awesome CCA day !

    Today was Friday and the day for my CCA which is Girls' Brigade ( GB ) . It was a tiring day after lessons and most importantly , I had my Chinese composition examination ! It was so difficult , but I had put in my best effort . Although I felt that I had done badly , I still think positively . When I did my works , I had totally forgotten about it .
    After School , I had a total of one hour to change and eat . So I did not rush for it . I spent half an hour on eating and half an hour of changing . When CCA had started , I was nervous as firstly , I would be taking my drill test stage 2 ! Teachers had high expectations of me ! I perspired a lot , almost my whole uniform was wet . Some of my friends even asked me whether I had gone in the rain . I smell badly too . Secondly , I would be going to a student council interview therefore I was profusely fanning myself to cool myself down . I told myself to stay calm . However , after the interview , I think that I had totally screwed up everything but since it's over , I forgot about it .
As I was still thinking about my results for my drill test stage 2 , one of my seniors told me that I had passed it ! I was overjoyed ! I would be taking drill test stage 3 when I had learnt them . I could not express how I felt , I was jumping around like monkey .
    Afterwards , we had drill , drills and drills ! Although I felt tired , but it
was worth it after all as in the end , it was for our own good . Then the time for us to change out of uniform . I hated this part as we only had very little time like ten minutes only to change and we had lots of GB girls in one toilet with just four cubicals . Can you imagine that ? If we did not report on time , we would be punished . However , this time , we do not have anyone late for the report but we still need to do our punishments as before that , we had people reporting late for other acticities . We had something like shuttle run . It was quite fun so I did not take it as a punishment as I enjoyed it .
    Then we had frisbee games . We played for around 20 minutes or so and we were dismissed . I felt totally tired , I felt that my hands and legs were wobbly and almost fell because of that . However , I loved the time we had spent together with my CCA mates . I love my CCA and my friends , my teachers and seniors !

My June Holidays !

During the June holidays , I had done lots of memorable things with my family members and friends . However , teachers had given us lots of homework to be done .

For the first few days , I was busy doing my homework so that I could finish them as early as possible in order to enjoy my holidays . Lots of effort were put into the homework and some projects that had to be done when school reopens .Sometimes , I was really angry with the teachers for giving their students so much homework during the holidays as we could not enjoy our holidays and homework gave me headache when i did not know how to do it .

Every Saturdays , I would have to attend bagpipe lesson at a church near Marsiling as there would be a bagpipe competition soon . I had to train as hard as I can . When we was doing the trainings under the hot sun , all of us were perspiring profusely . All of us felt tired , some of us even wanted to give up but for the bagpipe competition and the members , we fought to the end . We finally entered the competition . That day was raining heavily and we still need to march and play in it . At the end of the competition , our fingers were trembling because we played the instrument and we were eager to know the results of the competition . However , we did not win any prize or award . When I heard it , I felt very upset . I had no mood for anything the whole day . Not interested in doing anything , but I knew that we had tried our best , therefore i decided to work hard for the next competition .

In the middle of the holidays , I had went to my hometown , China , to visit my relatives . I had lots of fun there ! I even celebrate my birthday there ! I went to ice skating , swimming and even to the theme park . I had a big fall during the ice skating . My hands , legs and my back felt extremely painful . I was in pain yet my brother still laughed at me . My eyes frowned when I stared at him . I went to see doctors after that . Fortunately , I was alright .  I had a ride on the roller coaster . It was so exciting ! When I was going down , everyone around me was shouting and screaming out of their lungs . I tried to closed my eyes but unfortunately , the force of wind forced my eyes to open . In the end , my eyes felt so dry . I was screaming during it and saliva was flying out from my mouth . I felt so embarrassing and tried to close my mouth but I could not . I had lots of 'adventures' there . I just love my hometown . Finally , I went back to Singapore and I had to pack my bags as there would be school the next day .

That would be the end of my holidays . It was very interesting , adventurous and exciting . When school reopens , I kept talking to my friends about my holidays . I love holidays !
