CIP at Waterfront ! XD

        I had went to Woodlands Waterfront to do CIP on Wednesday . Even though I like to do CIP , this time was an exceptional . We had to walk from our school to the Waterfront and walk back ! Each walk would spend around 20-30 minutes . Before the walk , we had a very brief briefing . Our teacher in charge , Mrs Tay had scolded some of us for being late and yet noisy . She looked really scary when she was scolding . After the scolding , we had the briefing and then we had set off to out destination .


        While walking , we sang and we chatted . We took pictures of one another . I did not expect it to be so much fun ! It really took us 20 plus minutes to reach our destination . We took a class photo before starting on picking rubbish on the grass patches . I took two plastic gloves and one plastic bag and I began the 'journey' of discovering rubbish . We picked for around half an hour and we gave our rubbish bags full of rubbish , cigarette buds to the person-in-charge . Most of my friends were tired after all the jumping while picking up rubbish . What I was thinking now was to quickly go home , bathe and sleep . I think I have no more energy for anything  .

        Finally , after the attendance check , we started walking back to school to get out bags . My foot had blisters here and there . My leg felt wobbly , could not even run . At last ! We reached our school . I felt like I have been walking for five hours or so . I had never walked for such a long distance . I took my bag and went straight home . 


        I enjoyed everything I had done except the part where we need to walk for one hour in total and only half an hour for picking rubbish . I hope the school can book a bus for us next time . (:

My weakness in English ..

        I was from China and I came to Singapore since I was eight years old . When I was primary two in China , I came to Singapore to study primary one as I did not know how to speak English . Actually , I did not even know a single thing about English , so back then , my English results were terrible .

        However , as I lived here longer , I got used to the surrounding and eventually , I started speaking English more and more frequently but not very flurnt . I speaked English while I was communicating with my Malay and Tamil friends . Some of times , my friend even corrected my mistakes .

        I think I am weak in lots of things in English . Example sometimes , I did not get my tenses right . I do not know how to express some of the things i wanted to say and resulting it to sounds extremely weird . I also do not have a wide range of vocabularies so when I was reading books , I do not know lots of the meanings and when writing compositions , I do not have many words to use as I only know some of the words .

        I have always wanted my English results to get A but unfortunately , in the secondary life , I always got either B or C , never an A . Even if it is a low A , I will still be very happy , perhaps , I will just jump around in joy ! However , these are all my imaginations .

        Although now I still could not get an A , I will still strive hard and try my very best to score well in English even though it was my weakest subject .
